“There’s a corner of my heart that is yours. And I don’t mean for now, or until I’ve found somebody else, I mean forever. I mean to say that whether I fall in love a thousand times over or once or never again, there’ll always be a small quiet place in my heart that belongs only to you.”

The law of attraction is so real. I swear, once you establish yourself as powerful, or strong, or independent, or business minded, people like you will flock your way out of nowhere. And it’s just the universe reminding you that when you can see something beautiful in yourself, others can see it and admire it as well.

Prof says he’ll grade students on a curve, so they organize a boycott of the exams and all get As

Johns Hopkins Computer Science prof Professor Peter Fröhlich grades his students on a curve: the highest score on the final gets an A and everyone else is graded accordingly.

Clever students in Fröhlich’s “Intermediate Programming”, “Computer System Fundamentals,” and “Introduction to Programming for Scientists and Engineers” figured out that this meant that if they all boycotted the exam, they’d all get As.

So they organized a boycott, milling around the hall outside the class where the exams were being sat, sternly reminding each other that if no one sat the exam they’d all get straight As, ignoring Fröhlich’s pleas to come and sit the exam.

Fröhlich praised his students’ solidarity: “The students learned that by coming together, they can achieve something that individually they could never have done. At a school that is known (perhaps unjustly) for competitiveness I didn’t expect that reaching such an agreement was possible.”

some of you have never devoted your love and energy to a book/film series that shaped your entire childhood and who you are today only to have everything you love about it destroyed 8 years later and it shows :/

Sometimes you gotta wake up and remember who the fuck you are.

caribbritchick:

- You are fine as fuck

- You have an amazing personality

-You’ve achieved so much to make it to this point

- Don’t let anybody play you

- Don’t let anybody make you feel worthless

-Nobody is indispensable; cut them off if they are making you feel bad!
